About this project

Gate 06 brings 146 apartments across nine mid-rise buildings to a 17,000 m² plot in central Riyadh, with the Kingdom Centre tower visible on the skyline. The buildings — four to five storeys of warm sand-toned brick and rendered masonry — are arranged to enclose a series of inward-facing courtyards, turning the shared ground plane into the project's social core.

Each courtyard is programmed for everyday use: a full-size sports court shaded by tensile canopy structures, a lap pool edged in timber decking and low planting, and a children's play area lit and landscaped for evening use. Boardwalk paving, young palms, and ornamental pathway lighting give the ground plane a considered finish that reads distinctly against Riyadh's typically sparse residential open space.

Pioneer Landmarks led the landscape design for the compound and oversaw supervision of the renovation and finishing works across the full 25,053 m² built-up area — coordinating the outdoor amenity fit-out, surface treatments, and the installation of shade and play infrastructure to bring the shared spaces to completion.
