Architecture

Architecture is the spine of the studio. We carry projects from first site reading and massing studies through to fully coordinated construction documents, working across towers, mixed-use, hospitality, religious, and residential typologies. Every scheme is shaped by its climate, context, and the demands of Saudi codes and approvals — resolved into buildings that are at once efficient to build and considered in their detail.

How we work

We begin each commission by reading the plot, its orientation, and the realities of the Riyadh climate — solar exposure, prevailing winds, and the long cooling season — then test massing and envelope options against programme, plot ratios, and municipal setback rules before a single line is fixed. This early modelling lets us trade off floor efficiency, façade performance, and approval risk while the design is still cheap to change.

Our work spans towers, mixed-use complexes, malls, hotels, mosques, residential compounds, and private palaces, each with its own regulatory and functional logic. Schemes are developed in a BIM environment shared with our structural, electrical, and mechanical teams, so spatial coordination, service zones, and core planning are resolved in the model rather than discovered on site.

Throughout design development and documentation we hold the work to the Saudi Building Code and the relevant international standards, managing civil-defence, accessibility, and municipality approvals as part of the design rather than an afterthought. The aim is a coordinated set of drawings that protects the original intent while remaining genuinely buildable and economical.
