Construction Supervision

Our supervision team protects the design once it leaves the drawing board. On site we monitor workmanship, materials, and safety, review contractor submittals and shop drawings, and track progress against programme and budget. Through regular inspections and clear reporting we resolve issues early and hold the work to the standard set in the documents — so the building delivered matches the one that was designed.

How we work

Resident engineers and discipline inspectors carry the design into the field, witnessing key activities — reinforcement before pour, concrete tests, waterproofing, services installation, and finishes — against the approved drawings and specification. Inspection requests are logged, checklists completed, and non-conformances raised and tracked to closure, so quality is verified at each hold point rather than assumed at the end.

We administer the flow of technical information that keeps a site moving: reviewing and commenting on shop drawings and material submittals, answering requests for information, and assessing variations and their programme and cost impact. Progress is measured against the construction schedule, with delays and their causes recorded so the client has an accurate, defensible picture of status at any time.

As the works complete we lead structured snagging and de-snagging, witness testing and commissioning of systems, and verify that as-built records, warranties, and operation and maintenance manuals are delivered. Health-and-safety compliance is monitored throughout, and our reporting gives the client a continuous, evidenced account of the work delivered.
